Q: There is no save option, how do I save my file?
A: You do not need to save your entries, each entry is saved as it is entered or edited.
Q: How many Accounts can I have set up?
A: You can set up as many files as you wish, each file can have as many accounts as you want.
Q: How many transactions can I have in an account?
A: There is effectively no limit to the number of transactions, the software has been tested with up to 12,000 transactions. This is 20 years worth at 50 transactions a month.
Q: Once a scheduled transaction has been entered can I change it's amount?
A: Yes once a scheduled transaction has been entered, it is editable like any other transaction.
Q: Can I change the widths of the columns in the lists?
A: Yes, you can drag the header separator bars left and right to alter the column widths.
Q: Can I turn off a column in a list?
A: No, but you can make it disappear by making it's width very small.
Q: Can I rearrange the columns in the display?
A: No you can not rearrange the columns.
Q: What currency can I use?
A: You can use any single currency.
Q: What date format must I use?
A: The date format is the same as the one in the regional settings on your computer.
Q: I don't seem to be able to sort the columns in the Transaction list?
A: That is correct, the Transaction list is not sortable. Some other lists are.
Q: How do I upgrade to a new version?
A: Download the new version. Uninstall the old version by using the link in the start menu. Install the new version by running the hasetup.exe file. Your old files and settings will not be altered or removed.
Q: What is a CSV file?
A: A CSV (Comma Separated Values) file is a standard way of storing column based data for easy transfer between applications.
